# Cargoline Logistics — Multi-warehouse distribution from one control tower.

Sector: Distribution & 3PL · Location: GCC

Cargoline Logistics runs B2B distribution and 3PL deliveries for retail and FMCG brands across the GCC. Fleetroot replaced spreadsheets and phone calls with a single control tower for planning, dispatch, tracking and billing across every warehouse.

## Key results
- 95% — on-time rate
- -25% — cost per drop
- -30% — reattempts
- Hours — month-end client billing

## The challenge

Distribution at scale meant hundreds of drops a day from several warehouses, each with its own planners, drivers and customers.

1. **Planning by spreadsheet.** Routes were built manually each morning; vehicle capacity, time windows and traffic were guesswork, so trucks left late and under-loaded.
2. **No single view of the fleet.** Each warehouse tracked its own vehicles; head office learned about delays from customer complaints.
3. **Costly reattempts.** Missed time windows and unreachable receivers meant repeat visits that ate into margin.
4. **Slow client billing.** Reconciling delivered orders per client took days at month end, delaying invoices and cash.

## The solution

Cargoline standardised every warehouse on Fleetroot's fleet and delivery management platform:

- **Automated route planning** — orders are imported from the ERP and turned into capacity- and time-window-aware routes for every warehouse in minutes.
- **Live control tower** — one map for the whole fleet with ETAs, delays and temperature or door alerts from vehicle IoT, so head office acts before customers notice.
- **Receiver notifications and proof of delivery** — customers get ETAs and can confirm availability; drivers capture signature, photo and item-level POD.
- **Per-client billing from delivered tasks** — completed deliveries flow straight into client statements, with exceptions flagged automatically.

## The results

Six months in, Cargoline runs more volume with the same fleet and a fraction of the coordination effort:

- **95% on-time rate** across all warehouses, up from an unmeasured baseline.
- **25% lower cost per drop** through fuller loads and shorter, optimised routes.
- **30% fewer reattempts** thanks to receiver notifications and accurate ETAs.
- **Month-end billing in hours, not days**, with statements generated from delivered tasks.
